Why we set this up

Rodent work has a reputation problem, and it is largely deserved. Quotes for the same house routinely differ by thousands of dollars. Homeowners are handed a single number with no breakdown and no way to judge it. Companies trap successfully, leave the entry points open, and come back a year later to do it again. The most common thing we hear on a first call is some version of the question people ask each other constantly in public forums: am I being taken advantage of here?

We built this around the two things that answer that question. The first is a genuine inspection before any number is quoted, producing a written list of the actual openings on your house. The second is publishing our price ranges, which almost nobody in this market does. Both make it possible for you to check what we say against anyone else.

Who comes to your property

The technicians we work with are registered with the State of Florida, carry their own insurance, and represent more than 30 years of combined pest control experience between them. They are Central Florida people who do this work every day, and they know the difference between a barrel tile eave in Windermere and a 1920s soffit return in Winter Park because they have sealed both.

You are welcome to verify any technician's registration with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services before work begins, and we would encourage it.

What we will tell you that others might not

That your attic probably does not need full insulation replacement, if the contamination is confined to one area. That most well sealed homes do not need a monthly monitoring plan. That the chewed wiring we found belongs to an electrician and should not be touched by anyone else. That the evidence a home inspector flagged looks historic rather than current, which changes the cost of your situation substantially.

The Central Florida specifics

Roof rats are the worst rodent pest in Florida and the most abundant, according to UF/IFAS Extension, and they climb. That single fact rules out most of what a general pest route does. Perimeter bait stations around a house do very little against an animal that travels along an oak limb and enters twelve feet above the nearest station. Six of the seven common entry points on a Central Florida home sit at or above the roofline.

The metro also varies more than people expect. A 1912 house in the Sanford historic district, a 1972 concrete block ranch in Casselberry, and a 2021 tile-roofed build in Horizon West have almost nothing in common as rodent jobs. The old house has wall cavities running from the crawl space to the roof. The block ranch is sealed at wall level and open at the eaves. The new build has construction penetrations nobody closed properly. Three different jobs, three different inspections.

Getting in touch

Someone answers this line 24 hours a day. A rat in a living space at midnight is a genuinely different situation from the same rat in an attic, and a household on its third night without sleep should not be waiting for an office to open. Call 407-530-3375, or use the form on any page and we will call you back.

What Homeowners Say About Living With Rodents

These are short excerpts from public homeowner discussion forums, quoted anonymously. They are not reviews of our service, and they are here because they describe the part of this problem that most companies never mention.

"It is the night scratchies that is driving me crazy."

Homeowner, public home improvement forum

"Your home has been violated, basically."

Commenter describing the feeling to someone who had just found rats

"Most people I try to talk to about it act like I am being dramatic."

Homeowner, public pest control forum

Sleep loss and the feeling of not being comfortable in your own home are the reasons most people finally call. Both are legitimate reasons to get this handled quickly.
